Justice Minister visits justice institutions in Narva and Jõhvi

Today, Justice
Minister Rein Lang will visit justice institutions in Narva and
Jõhvi, meet the heads of local authorities and visit the site
of the future Viru Prison.
From 10.30am to
1.00pm the Minister will be in Narva where he will meet the heads of
Narva City Court and Narva Department of the Viru Circuit
Prosecutor's Office, the Leading Prosecutor of the Viru Circuit
Prosecutor's Office and the Mayor of Narva. The Minister will also
discuss cooperation plans with the heads of the Narva and Jõhvi
Departments of the Eastern Police Prefecture.
From 2.15pm to
2.45pm the Minister and the Ida-Viru County Governor will visit the
site of the future Viru Prison in Jõhvi.
Thereafter the Minister
will visit Viru Circuit Court and Jõhvi Administrative Court.
The purpose of the
meeting with the representatives of the justice institutions in Narva
and Jõhvi is to gain an overview of their work and working
conditions and discuss topical issues.
The Minister will be
accompanied by Secretary General Jüri Pihl and Ministerial
Adviser Erik Salumäe.
Journalists are
invited to the site of the future prison at Üleveo 1 in Jõhvi
by 2.30pm.
