Our mission

Our mission is to provide the value of truth through forensic examination and investigation in order to ensure legal order in the country, doing so professionally and in a way that makes the best use of resources for society, and contributing to the fair treatment of people and the protection of their legal rights.

 

Our vision

Our vision is to be a people-centred institution that grows and develops on the basis of science and where in our professional operations we strive to:

·         implement in Estonia the best possible methods of investigation based on the latest achievement in science and with an international scope;

·         ensure the independence and reliability of our services so as to guarantee a sense of security among people;

·         increase the level of satisfaction among those who use our services; and

·         be closely connected to and participate in the development of scientific areas and trends of international priority in the field of forensic science.
