Ascertaining a state of intoxication

The process of ascertaining a state of intoxication has been provided for in Law Enforcement Act and regulations related to it.

Ethanol is determined from blood, narcotics and psychotropic substances are determined from urine.

The analysis will be accomplished in Tallinn, at Tervise Street 20 and in Tartu, at Ravila Street 19.

Samples will be taken in medical institutions or during the working hours (8:30-16:30) in EFSI.
